   all the kicks he does in the fights are from capoeira… the punches in capoeira are with open hand but in a mma fight u’re not going to do that

   Marcus Fisher, MMA fighter, was killed from a blow to the head he recieved from a capoeira fighter. The force of the blow was so strong it crushed a heel sized crater into the top of his skull. A careless capoeira fighter can kill his opponent, if he’s trying to kill you, odds are, he probably will.

   There have only been two deaths in MMA. American Doug Dedge in a unregulated fight in the Ukraine, he had a pre-existing brain condition and was banned from sanctioned fights for this reason. In 2007 Sam Vasquez from Houston was first and only death from a sanctioned MMA fight. Marcus Fisher is undefeated and alive and well. You are shamelessly and thoroughly full of shit.

    absolutely ridiculous. He doesn’t use 1% of his capoeira techniques as soon as he is really in the ring with someone. Prolly because Capoeira is useless against a trained opponent.

    Gusmao is the Capoeira teacher here at Renzo Gracie Academy in NYC. Really awesome guy. Though unfortunate for his UFC losses though. I’m planning to see his next fight at Ring of combat. I’m sure he’ll be back on Track.

    Two godly people using a godly martial art might devastate people. capoeira is way too underrrated but if that fight happened it would become lots more popular.
