This final sequence apparently didn’t sit well with Daley, who took a swing at Koscheck after the fight ended, prompting referee Dan Miragliotta to intervene and UFC President Dana White to give the fighter a talking to in the Octagon and to later release him from the UFC due to the cheap shot.
…Especially considering his age, Sam Stout is a strong competitor with a record of 16-5-1.
I think the only thing holding him back, is he’s keeping other doors open, such as school. Nonetheless, he’s dedicated enough to maintain great physical condition and an impressive record. If he were to drop everything, and focus exclusively on MMA, as is the case with most other competitors in the sport, and most other competitors he’s faced, he’d be on a par with other fighters. We’d realize we’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg.
He’s one of the few fighters I make a point of never missing….
